J’s Senior Show
A requirement for Belmont University graduating Seniors is to complete a 50 minute recital that is written, choreographed, and performed by the individual and a cast/band not exceeding 7 people. Pictured below are some moments from my recital this past January!
“We Are The Tigers”
A Pop/Rock musical by Preston Max Allen; Jianna played the role of Cairo!
“Addams Family”
The stage version of the “Addams Family” explores the family dynamic of the iconic characters as they go through navigating the unique situation of integrating with the Beinekes because of Wednesday and Lucas’ surprise engagement.
Jianna played Morticia Addams in this production.
“My Way”
“My Way” is a Frank Sinatra review, an ensemble piece, that travels through the star’s discography including various Sinatra billboard classics, duets, and some of his underground hits.
“Twelfth Night” (Taub)
This version of the Shakespeare classic story has music by Shaina Taub with a contemporary sound mixed with the old english speech.
Jianna played Viola in this show.
“Starting Here, Starting Now”
“Starting Here, Starting Now”, a musical revue with lyrics by Richard Maltby Jr. and music by David Shire. explores a variety of romantic relationships.
